Our company is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to lead an ongoing and growing team. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable providing guidance on employment law as well as monitoring employee engagement and motivation. This position handles a wide variety of human resource-related tasks, and we are looking for individuals who are capable of balancing multiple priorities and working effectively with a diverse and fast-paced team.
Responsibilities:
- Prescreen potential new employees for interviews.
- Schedule and conduct interviews.
- Ensure compliance of federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Onboard training for new employees.
- Monitor daily time-keeping.
- Monitor the performance evaluation program.
- Manage and document time off requests.
- Conduct disciplinary action.
- Process payroll changes and ensure accurate record keeping
- Maintain documents related to employee benefits and ensure benefit changes are entered into the system.
- Assist with collecting information for onboarding, payroll, benefits, recruiting, and personnel processes and procedures with new and seasoned employees.
- Assist in processing worker's compensation and unemployment claims by reviewing, tracking, and entering data
- Process employment and salary verifications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
