We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Front of House Support to join our hospitality team! Duties
- Safely handle and transport food, beverages, and supplies from the kitchen to guest tables using proper manual handling techniques and safe lifting practices.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff, including plating or garnishing dishes.
- Clear and bus tables efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and organization in dining areas to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
- Support the front-of-house team by serving food and drinks accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness by cleaning workstations, utensils, and dining areas regularly, adhering to food safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Help with general restaurant support tasks including restocking supplies, managing heavy lifting of equipment or supplies, and assisting with guest requests promptly.
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred; familiarity with food handling, serving, and POS systems.
- Experience in-person customer service roles that require clear communication skills and guest-focused interactions.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, food preparation procedures, and proper cleaning techniques is highly valued.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting when necessary for moving supplies or equipment.
- Strong communication skills combined with a positive attitude to work effectively within a team environment.
- Prior experience with restaurant operations or kitchen support roles will help you excel in this energetic position.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
