We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Evening Shift Supervisor to oversee production operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is essential in ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly, safely, and efficiently during assigned shifts. The ideal candidate will possess Plastic Injection Molding experience, strong leadership skills, technical proficiency, and a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing procedures. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing production teams, maintaining safety standards, and driving continuous process improvements to meet quality and productivity goals.
Duties
- Supervise manufacturing activities on the evening shift, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Coordinate and manage assembly line, plastic injection molding technicians
- Monitor production progress, interpret manufacturing documents, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Lead and manage production teams, providing guidance, training and performance feedback.
Required:
- Plastic Injection Molding experience required.
- Minimum of a High School Degree or GED.
- Prior experience managing production or assembly teams within a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on knowledge of mechanical assembly, interpreting technical drawings, and using measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and experience implementing safety protocols.
- Experience with process improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Strong mechanical knowledge coupled with the ability to interpret technical documentation accurately.
- Experience Supervising up to 12 personnel at once in a manufacturing environment.
