Position Overview: We're looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a team-oriented setting and understands the importance of building strong relationships with clients while delivering top-notch care to their pets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians with patient care, including handling animals, preparing them for procedures, induction and intubation, dental prophylaxis, venipuncture, administering medications, radiography, anesthetic monitoring during procedures, and post-operative recovery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing education and support to help them care for their pets.
- Support the team in administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
- Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
