The Property Inspector plays a critical role in protecting the guest experience and property quality standards that owners and guests expect from Casago Smoky Mountains. This role routinely visits properties around guest and owner arrivals to confirm homes are guest-ready, documents findings in property quality reports, and resolves minor issues on the spot. Inspectors manage their own daily schedule while consistently meeting inspection windows and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine, in-person inspections of properties ahead of guest and owner arrivals to verify cleanliness, staging, and overall readiness.
- Complete detailed property quality reports, documenting condition, issues found, and corrective action taken.
- Perform minor maintenance repairs and touch-up cleaning tasks on site as needed to bring a property up to standard.
- Identify and report larger maintenance, safety, or quality concerns to the appropriate team for follow-up.
- Manage a personal daily route and schedule to complete all assigned inspections within required timeframes.
- Communicate proactively with the local operations team regarding schedule, delays, or property issues.
- Maintain provided tools and cleaning supplies in good working order.
Qualifications
- Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance.
- Comfortable performing light physical work, including basic repairs, lifting, and cleaning.
- Strong attention to detail and comfort with documenting findings clearly and consistently.
- Self-motivated and able to manage time and routes independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet to complete digital inspection reports.
- Prior experience in property inspection, hospitality, housekeeping, or maintenance is a plus, but not required.
Compensation & What We Provide
- $16.00–$17.00 per hour, paid based on experience.
- Mileage/gas reimbursement for use of a personal vehicle.
- A small toolbox and cleaning supplies provided for on-site tasks.
