The main responsibilities are to drive customers in an open-top double-decker bus on designated routes in Washington D.C. while prioritizing safety, efficiency, and adhering to company schedule, routes and procedures.

Key Areas of Responsibility
- Report on time to the depot as scheduled in required uniform
- Perform a Pre-trip inspection of your assigned bus or the operations vehicle including checking fluids, fuel bus, ensure bus/vehicle is clean and ready for passengers
- Follow the given route as scheduled under the direction of the dispatcher/management
- Make the advertised stops for our Sunset Tour and wait for all guests/tour guides/employees to return to the bus before continuing on the route
- Always maintain the safety of the bus and passengers during the tour
- Follow all state and Federal traffic and DOT laws rules/regulations
- Report any incidents or accidents immediately per company policy
- Maintain a professional driving style, presentation, and demeanor whenever in uniform
- Provide customer service to passengers
- Must be flexible
- To carry out any other task as reasonably requested
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
- Knowledge of greater Washington DC streets & highways
- Knowledge of Big Bus Tours products and attractions
- CDL with air brakes and passenger endorsement
- DOT Medical certification and drug test
- Vaccine COVID 19 federal mandated requirements (fully vaccinated)
- At least two years CDL driving experience OR graduation from an accredited CDL driver training school. Must present Certificate of Completion

Working Hours and Conditions
- Evening shifts 5:30pm-10:00pm. Ability to come in earlier and remain for the Sunset Tours
- Must be available to work a variety of hours, which may include afternoons, evenings, weekends and/or holidays
Physical Requirements
- Job requires employee to sit and drive for continuous periods of time without being able to leave the work area
- Job requires lifting, carrying, or pushing/pulling up to 20 lbs
Pay: $30.43 per hour
