Westside Veterinary Hospital is currently seeking a full-time veterinary technician to join our team. Our hospital has four excellent doctors and many employees who are dedicated to providing our clients with the best patient care for their pets, while maintaining a positive work environment. Candidates should be hard working, able to multi-task, and be a team player that takes pride in their job. Some requirements for this position would include the ability to physically lift up to 50 lbs., be dependable and on time, able to work a flexible schedule Monday-Friday and value a clean work environment.
Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assist Veterinarians and other technicians.
- Provide excellent client communication as well as education.
- Administer and fill medications.
- Perform laboratory procedures.
- Collect specimens.
- Assist in surgeries and diagnostic procedures.
*Experience: Veterinary Technician: Two years (preferred)
*Salary is based on experience
