Travel Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab (Cath Lab RN)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Travel Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced cardiovascular team. In this role, you will provide exceptional care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures while collaborating with cardiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care for cardiac catheterization patients.
- Assist with procedures including cardiac catheterizations, coronary angiography, PCI, angioplasty, stent placement, and other interventional cardiac procedures.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, hemodynamics, vital signs, and patient response throughout procedures.
- Administer moderate sedation, contrast media, and other prescribed medications while monitoring for complications.
- Assess and manage vascular access sites, perform sheath removal (per facility policy), and provide post-procedure recovery care.
- Respond to emergencies using ACLS protocols and participate in STEMI and Code Blue activations.
- Accurately document patient care using EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner.
Qualifications
- Active RN license (state or compact, as applicable).
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Previous ICU, CVICU, or ED experience preferred.
- Experience with cardiac monitoring, conscious sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, and sterile technique.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.

Pay: $1,146.84 - $3,585.44 per week
