About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to ensure the optimal performance of industrial air compression systems. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of compressor types and related equipment. Your proficiency in using diagnostic tools and interpreting technical manuals will be essential for success.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of air compressors and related equipment, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using precision measuring tools and provide effective solutions.
- Offer technical support and training to customers and colleagues, enhancing their understanding of system operations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of service calls, including diagnostics performed and repairs completed.
- Manage business expenses responsibly, submitting timely and accurate expense reports.
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in all business interactions.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations during all service activities.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and handheld devices.
- Experience with compressed air systems and centrifugal technologies.
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology or HVAC.
- EPA 608 /F-GAS 303/2008/CE/ISHRAE Certification.
- Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, PLCs, and refrigeration systems.
