We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Agent to join our team at our resort. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Manage reservations and maintain accurate records using hotel management software.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions securely.
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, striving for resolution.
- Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
Experience
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to accommodate diverse guests.
- Familiarity with phone systems and hotel management software is an advantage.
- A background in hospitality management or hotel management is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
