By joining the team as a Patient Access Representative, you will provide a comprehensive set of business and financial related services during the patient access process on the day the patient arrives at Union Hospital to receive healthcare services. You will work face-to-face with diverse populations of patients via mobile work station, collecting their financial, insurance, medical, and demographic information to check them in, complete their registration, and leave a positive, lasting impression . A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Crosstrain to staff all areas of patient access, such as front desk, admitting office, ED and cash register.
