The Impact You'll Make
As our Office Manager, you will be the heartbeat of our practice. You'll ensure that our operations run smoothly, patients feel cared for, and our providers can focus on delivering outstanding personalized medical care. In a small practice like ours, your role will be both strategic and hands-on, giving you the opportunity to shape the patient experience and the efficiency of our day-to-day operations.
What You'll Do
- Oversee daily front-office operations, including scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and phone/email communication.
- Actively manage staff including hiring, retention, and yearly reviews in consultation with the physician owners.
- Manage electronic patient records and ensure compliance with HIPPA and other healthcare regulations.
- Handle insurance verification, billing, and claims follow-up to maintain healthy revenue cycles.
- Coordinate with labs, pharmacies, and referral partners to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
- Support providers with tasks, including schedules, personnel matters, and managing follow-up communications.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience in medical office management (small practice experience a plus).
- Strong knowledge of medical billing, insurance processes, and EHR systems (currently using athena health).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a hands-on patient facing environment.
- Warm, professional communication skills- both in person and over the phone.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
