Part-Time Seamstress

LiviRae Lingerie is seeking a skilled, dependable, and detail-oriented Part-Time Seamstress to join our team. This position focuses on lingerie alterations, garment repairs, customizations, and specialty sewing projects designed to help our customers achieve the perfect fit.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional alterations on bras, lingerie, shapewear, clothing, and specialty garments
- Adjust straps, bands, cups, closures, seams, and garment lengths
- Complete repairs, including replacing hooks, clasps, elastic, underwires, and other components
- Sew custom pieces and garment modifications as requested
- Work carefully with lace, satin, mesh, elastic, and other delicate fabrics
- Consult with customers and fitting specialists to determine alteration needs
- Take accurate measurements and clearly explain available alteration options
- Complete assignments within established deadlines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sewing workspace
- Properly operate and maintain sewing machines, sergers, and related equipment
- Provide friendly, respectful, and discreet customer service
- Assist with other sewing and store-related projects as needed
Qualifications
- Previous professional sewing, tailoring, alteration, or garment-construction experience required
- Experience working with bras, lingerie, swimwear, stretch fabrics, or delicate materials strongly preferred
- Proficiency with sewing machines, sergers, hand sewing, and garment-finishing techniques
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to take accurate measurements and follow alteration instructions
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Dependable, punctual, organized, and professional
- Comfortable working directly with customers in an inclusive, body-positive environment
- Must be available for a flexible part-time schedule, including some weekends as needed
