Job Description
We are currently seeking experienced retail professionals to join our team as Store Managers and Assistant Managers. In these roles, you will lead daily operations, ensure customer satisfaction, train your team, maintain store compliance, and adhere to company policies.
Principal Responsibilities
- Customer Service - Provide outstanding service by maintaining a welcoming environment, greeting guests, ensuring high standards, and demonstrating excelling product knowledge.
- Sales and Business Analysis - Analyze business trends and store trends, develop strategies to maximize sales, and recommend changes to meet or exceed financial goals.
- Scheduling and Payroll - Manage staff schedules and payroll effectively.
- People Management & Training - Recruit and/or hire staff, ensure they are fully trained, and maintain a positive work environment.
- Inventory Management - Ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels, merchandise adjacencies and presentations; ensure selling floor is adequately stocked.
- Loss Prevention & Security - Implement measures to control shrink, spoilage, and theft.
- Competitive Analysis - Conduct comparison shopping, report findings to your supervisor, and make appropriate price adjustments on a daily basis.
- Compliance - Ensure adherence to all copmany policies and procedures are met through store management, regular staff meeting meetings, and store walk-throughs and audits.
- Regulatory Compliance - Ensure the store operates in accordance with all relveant regulation. Ensure that all inspections and permits are up to date.
- Other Duties - Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor.
Other Requirements
- Proficiency in computer systems and POS registers.
- Excellent communication skills with associates and guests.
- Ability to accurately read, count, and write for documentation.
- Capability to access all areas of the store, including the selling floor, stockroom, and register area.
- Ability to operate all necessary store equipment.
- Capability to move or handle merchandise weighing 0-20 pounds.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and days to oversee store operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
