Dr. Lake & Associates is seeking a licensed psychologist with expertise in the assessment and diagnosis of neurodevelopmental conditions to join our established and rapidly growing practice. We have a strong referral base and a collaborative assessment model that allows psychologists to focus on diagnostic excellence while working alongside an experienced psychometrician and dedicated administrative team.

This position may be fully remote for licensed Florida psychologists.
Position Overview
The psychologist serves as the clinical lead for psychological evaluations, maintaining primary responsibility for diagnostic interviewing, case conceptualization, supervision of assessment planning, diagnostic formulation, report review and completion, and feedback sessions.
Our experienced psychometrician conducts standardized test administration using established protocols, while our administrative team manages scheduling, insurance verification, billing, and client coordination—allowing you to dedicate your time to high-quality clinical care.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive developmental and diagnostic clinical interviews with clients and, when appropriate, caregivers or collateral informants.
- Determine appropriate assessment batteries and collaborate with the psychometrician throughout the evaluation process.
- Review, interpret, and integrate assessment data into comprehensive diagnostic formulations.
- Complete and finalize psychological evaluation reports using established report templates while ensuring clinical accuracy, clarity, and individualized recommendations.
- Provide collaborative, strengths-based diagnostic feedback sessions to clients and families.
- Formulate differential diagnoses involving Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, learning disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and co-occurring mental health conditions.
- Apply current empirical literature and evidence-based assessment practices throughout the evaluation process.
- Ensure documentation meets APA ethical standards, Florida licensing requirements, and professional best practices.
- Participate in interdisciplinary consultation and collaborative case discussions as needed.

QualificationsRequired
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited program
- Current, unrestricted Florida psychologist license
- Experience evaluating and diagnosing neurodevelopmental conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, learning disorders, and related conditions
- Strong diagnostic interviewing, case conceptualization, and differential diagnosis skills
- Excellent psychological report writing and verbal feedback abilities
- Commitment to culturally responsive, neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based care
- Ability to collaborate effectively with psychometricians within a structured assessment model
Preferred
- Experience assessing children, adolescents, and adults
- Familiarity with commonly used neuropsychological and psychological assessment instruments
- Experience supervising trainees or providing consultation is welcomed but not required
