Princess Seafood Market is the only dedicated fish market in Fort Bragg. Our goal is to provide sustainably caught, local, high quality seafood to our community. We catch some of our fish and shellfish on our own commercial fishing vessel, the Princess.

Princess Seafood Market is hiring for our market clerk position. Duties include setting up and breaking down the fish case in a sanitary and aesthetically pleasing way, talking to customers about seafood and cooking, portioning and weighing seafood for sale, using our POS system to ring customers up, handling live crabs and cleaning cooked crabs and preparing deli items for our grab n go case. While no previous experience is necessary for this position candidates must have a willingness & interest to learn about seafood, available on holidays (not xmas or thanksgiving day) the ability to lift 25 pounds and be on your feet for 8 hours and be pleasant and helpful to customers and teammates.
Starting pay is DOE with $16.90/ hour for no experience. Our team shares equally in a tip pool. Perks include holiday bonus, employee discounts, daily shift meal, full time employees eligible for 401K retirement plan and PTO.
