The HRIS / HR Generalist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department while serving as the primary administrator for the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role ensures the integrity of employee data, supports HR processes, provides reporting and analytics, and all other HR generalist duties assigned.
Pay Range:$30.75-$46.13
HRIS Administration
- Maintain and administer the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Troubleshoot HRIS issues and coordinate with UKG to ensure that MRH is optimizing its use for UKG and the system is fixed as issues come up
- Support system upgrades, testing, implementations, and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain HRIS documentation, procedures, and user training materials.
Human Resources Operations
- Maintain Personnel files and ensure we are compliant with DNV requirements and follow MRH record retention policy
- Ensure that when documents are received for filing, they are filed properly and in a timely manner
- Maintain compliance with tracking licensure, competencies, certifications and mask fits and ensures the process of notifying managers and employees as to due dates etc.
- Maintain tracking for Performance evaluations
- Respond to Employee Human Resources inquiries and ensure that the MRH mailbox is responded to each business day
- Update our license, certification, competencies’ and mask fit tracking process so it is done in UKG
- Assist with performance management, employee engagement, and recognition programs.
- Provide guidance to employees regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Personnel files need to be audited monthly for compliance
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Assist with HR audits and regulatory reporting.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Monitor HR metrics and provide recommendations for process improvements.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
Experience
- At least one year of Human Resources experience with significant HRIS administration responsibilities.
- Experience with UKG or similar HRIS platforms

o High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
o Human Resources Certification, PHR, PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
Experience with UKG or other similar HRIS platforms
o Previous Human Resources and/or healthcare experience preferred.
o Ability to read and communicate effectively in English, additional languages encouraged.
o Ability to read, understand, interpret, and communicate policies, procedures, and protocols.
o Superior communication skills.
o Comprehensive HRIS and computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office applications, Database Management, and healthcare related software.
o Must be able to work with minimum supervision, set priorities, and follow through to accomplish results.
o Knowledge of healthcare recruiting and hospital operations.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure in an environment with ever changing priorities and multiple group dynamics.
o Ability to manage stress appropriately, handle multiple priorities and make decisions under pressure.
