American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a night shift travel contract in a CT Scanner department, requiring ARRT registration, CT registration, and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

CT Scanner department within a hospital setting, with expected initial placement at the main facility before transitioning to the freestanding ED (FSED)
-
9-bed unit
-
Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

13-week contract

Floating within the facility is required

Call shifts are required

Block scheduling is possible

EMR: Cerner
-
ARRT certification required
-
CT registration required
-
MRT/TMB (Texas Medical Board) license required if applicable

Current BLS required

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist

Proficiency in CT scanning of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
-
Knowledge of contrast media studies, cross-sectional anatomy, and sterile/surgical procedures
-
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

All certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the contract start date

Driver's license required for consideration

Perform routine and advanced CT scanning procedures including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and image-guided biopsy/drainage procedures

Responsibilities include basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services

Studies may be performed with or without contrast media

Works under the direction of a Radiologist and in accordance with departmental protocols

Navy blue scrubs required

RTO requests must be less than one week in duration

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
