Shottenkirk Chevrolet Buick GMC Fort Madison is looking for a skilled Mobile Service Technician to deliver professional maintenance and light repair services directly to our customers at their homes, businesses, and job sites. This is an exciting opportunity for a technician who enjoys working independently, building customer relationships, and providing convenient, high-quality service outside of the traditional service bay.

- Earn $60,000–$70,000+ per year
- Production bonuses paid twice per year (June & December)

- Wednesday – Saturday (Saturday shift ends at 12:00 PM)
With three schedule options, you’ll enjoy greater flexibility and more time away from work while building a rewarding automotive career.
- Travel to customer homes, businesses, and fleet locations to perform scheduled maintenance and light repair services
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, recalls, software updates, and other approved mobile services
- Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and document findings
- Diagnose routine vehicle concerns and determine when repairs require dealership service
- Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience through professional communication and service
- Maintain inventory, tools, equipment, and cleanliness of the mobile service vehicle
- Follow all manufacturer repair procedures and dealership safety standards
- Work independently while staying connected with the dealership service team
- Previous automotive technician experience required
- ASE certifications, GM certifications, or OEM training are a plus
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage a daily route
- Comfortable using tablets, repair software, and digital inspection tools
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical automotive repair duties
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
