Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and setup of equipment and supplies for interventional neurology procedures.
- Operate imaging and monitoring equipment (e.g., fluoroscopy, angiography) during procedures, ensuring optimal visualization and data acquisition.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to provide patient care during procedures, including patient positioning, monitoring vital signs, and responding to patient needs.
- Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols throughout procedures.
- Assist with patient assessment, documentation, and post-procedure care as directed by healthcare providers.
- Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshoot issues to ensure operational readiness.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and maintain accurate records of procedures performed.
Requirements:

Associates or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) preferred

Previous experience in interventional radiology, neurology, or a related field.

Proficiency in operating fluoroscopic and angiographic equipment.

Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to neurology procedures.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.

Active and unrestricted RT license in the state of Florida)

Minimum 3 years clinical experience. Interventional Radiology experience preferred.

AART or equivalent (for RT position, not required for Scrub Tech)

Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job. These include, but are not limited to, sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time, lifting, pulling, moving patients/objects > 50 pounds, and repetitive motions.
