Heritage Care Inc. is a small non-profit that serves Maryland, DC and Northern Virginia. We have several different community education and workforce development programs. We also have a pediatric therapy practice and child learning center.
CNA/GNA Class Instructor
The instructor will lead a 108 hour class (68 classroom, 45 clinical). This opportunity is based on grant funding and will be renewed as long as funding is available. Classes will be conducted in-person in a classroom setting Monday through Thursday from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The classroom portion of the program and the clinical portion of the program will be held at Potomac Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. The address is 1235 Potomac Valley Rd, Rockville, MD 20850.
Requirements:
- RN Licensed to practice in Maryland
- At least one year of experience working in long term care within the past five years and two years of experience working as an RN
- Train the Trainer course or two years of formal teaching experience
- Evening availability from 5:30 to 10:00
- Applicants must submit proof of their TDAP vaccination and also undergo TB screening if he/she has not done so in the past 6 months,
