Magic Wheels Jackson is looking for a dependable, guest-focused Part-Time Assistant General Manager to provide strong local leadership during key operating hours. This is an active, floor-based role for someone who enjoys leading a team, creating memorable guest experiences, and keeping daily operations organized, safe, and consistent.
The Assistant General Manager will be a trusted on-site partner to the Tennessee Regional Manager. You will lead assigned shifts, coach team members and shift leads, support parties and events, respond to guest concerns, and ensure the building is ready to operate at a high standard.
What You'll Own
Shift Leadership and Daily Operations
- Lead assigned opening, closing, weekend, party, and high-volume shifts.
- Complete opening/closing checklists, cashout procedures, cleaning standards, and manager reports accurately.
- Keep the building safe, clean, functional, and guest-ready.
- Coordinate floor coverage and adjust team deployment as traffic and bookings change.
- Identify maintenance, inventory, staffing, or safety concerns early and escalate them with clear next steps.
Guest Experience and Parties
- Be a visible, welcoming manager on the floor.
- Check in with guests and party hosts before small concerns become larger problems.
- Handle guest recovery calmly, fairly, and professionally.
- Help parties, groups, and special events run on time and to standard.
- Build a culture where great visits create repeat guests, positive feedback, and community trust.
Team Leadership and Training
- Coach team members and shift leads during real shifts.
- Help train new hires on guest service, safety, cleaning, parties, food operations, and position standards.
- Give feedback directly and respectfully, with private coaching when appropriate.
- Apply expectations consistently and help build a dependable local leadership bench.
- Support interviews, onboarding, and team development as assigned.
Business and Administrative Support
- Support schedule planning and labor-aware shift decisions.
- Help monitor inventory, food and beverage execution, ordering needs, waste, and cost controls.
- Complete manager notes, incident documentation, and follow-up tasks on time.
- Participate in regular check-ins and scorecard reviews with the Regional Manager.
- Support school fundraisers, group events, and local community follow-up as assigned.
- Own assigned projects and close the loop without repeated reminders.

- Leadership, supervisory, hospitality, restaurant, retail, entertainment, or event experience preferred.
- Strong guest-service instincts and confidence leading a busy shift.
- Dependable local availability in the Jackson area.
- Availability during key operating windows, including evenings, weekends, holidays, mornings, and special events. (mandatory)
- Clear, professional communication and good judgment under pressure.
- Ability to coach people, hold standards, and treat team members fairly.
- Comfortable with basic scheduling, cash handling, checklists, inventory, and digital workplace tools.
- Willingness to work actively throughout the venue and assist wherever the operation needs leadership.

- $17 per hour
- Part-time, approximately 20–30 hours per week
- Weekly hours and recurring coverage windows will be finalized based on business needs and candidate availability.
- Key evening, weekend, party, opening, and closing coverage is expected.
