JOB TITLE: Maintenance Coordinator
FLSA: Exempt
SALARY SCHEDULE: MT
REPORTS TO: Chief School Financial Officer
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. At least five years’ experience in maintenance.
2. Administrative certification or classified with experience and/or training in maintenance.
3. Proficient in public relations and management of maintenance employees.
9. Must meet background clearance requirements as specified by Alabama
statutes and State Board of Education regulations.
SUPERVISES: Maintenance Employees and physical school facilities.
UTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Approve, organize, prioritize, order, evaluate and maintain records of materials for all maintenance projects.
Meet with the Assistant Superintendent/CSFO on a monthly basis to repoprt on upcoming day to day projects, equipment needs, personnel concerns/needs and any other information necessary for the effectiveness of the maintenance operation.
Maintain accurate and current records of maintenance projects including, but not limited to, time-on-task, cost and completion dates.
