BrightStar Care is seeking an experienced and dependable Part-Time Home Health Nurse to provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes throughout our service area. If you're looking for a consistent part-time schedule with the opportunity to earn additional income through PRN shifts and on-call weekends, we'd love to hear from you.
Schedule
- 20 hours per week
- Monday (Half Day), Wednesday, and Friday
- Occasional paid on-call weekend rotation (approximately once per month)
- Opportunity to pick up additional PRN visits if desired
Compensation & Benefits
- $38,000–$39,000 annual salary
- Mileage reimbursement

Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments
- Perform wound care and dressing changes
- Manage PICC lines, ports, and other vascular access devices
- Coordinate with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
- Complete, accurate, and timely electronic documentation
- Ensure compliance with agency policies and state regulations
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Texas RN license in good standing
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with: PICC line care, Port access and maintenance, Wound care, Skilled nursing assessments, Medication administration
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
- Willingness to travel throughout our entire service area
- Previous home health experience
Preferred:
- Infusion therapy experience
