Director of Housing Partnerships & Program Development
Location: Newark, NJ (Hybrid/Flexible)

Are you passionate about helping individuals obtain stable housing? Do you have experience working with housing programs, homelessness services, emergency assistance, rapid rehousing, supportive housing, or transitional housing?
We’re looking for an experienced professional to lead the growth of our housing partnerships throughout New Jersey.
We own and professionally manage newly renovated apartment buildings in Newark and are expanding our housing portfolio. Our mission is to provide safe, quality housing for single adults transitioning from homelessness, emergency shelter, behavioral health programs, hospitals, veterans’ programs, re-entry, domestic violence programs, and other housing instability.
This is not a traditional case management position. This is an opportunity to build a statewide referral network, create meaningful agency partnerships, and help expand an organization dedicated to solving one of New Jersey’s greatest challenges.

What You’ll Do
- Build relationships with nonprofits, government agencies, hospitals, shelters, behavioral health providers, veterans’ organizations, and housing programs throughout New Jersey.
- Develop a consistent pipeline of referrals for available rooms and apartments.
- Work collaboratively with case managers, housing navigators, social workers, discharge planners, and program directors.
- Coordinate participant referrals, documentation, move-ins, and communication with referring agencies.
- Identify new funding sources and housing opportunities.
- Help establish our company as a preferred housing partner across New Jersey.
- Assist with strategic expansion into additional housing opportunities and partnerships.

Qualifications
- ABILITY TO SOURCE AND PLACE PROSPECTIVE TENANTS
- Experience working with housing, homelessness, supportive housing, or social service programs.
- Excellent relationship-building and networking skills.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
- Familiarity with New Jersey housing resources is strongly preferred.
- Existing relationships with referral agencies are a significant advantage.
