As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services and interpretations that are vital for patient care. You will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring that diagnostic imaging meets the highest standards while contributing to the overall efficiency of our medical practice.
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans

Interpret and analyze imaging results to assist in patient diagnosis

Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss imaging results and recommendations

Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient examinations and findings

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols in the imaging department

Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Provide education and guidance to patients regarding imaging procedures

Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiology and imaging technologies
- Medical degree (MD) with a valid medical license to practice in the state

Associate-level experience in Radiology

Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging modalities and techniques

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Schedule: Weekdays, 8a-5p
Call: Weekdays (5p-8a) and weekends (Friday 5p-Monday 8a)
Daily Volume: 5-8 procedures
Required Procedures: Central venous access, percutaneous biopsy/drainage, mesenteric arteriography, venous/DVT/IVC filter, trauma embolization, nephrostomy/biliary
Must be board-certified
