Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Technician to join our landscape maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess mechanical knowledge, and be experienced in various aspects of lawn care and landscape services. This role involves maintaining residential and commercial properties through a variety of landscaping tasks, ensuring high-quality results and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform lawn mowing, edging, and trimming to maintain healthy turf and aesthetic appeal
- Occasionally conduct landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, shrubbery care, and tree trimming
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as skid loaders.
- Assist with snow plowing in the winter.
- Occasionally install and repair hardscape features like patios, walkways, and retaining walls
- Occasionally assist with gardening tasks including soil preparation, planting flowers or shrubs, and pest control
- Maintain equipment through routine cleaning and minor repairs to ensure optimal operation
- Ensure safety procedures are followed during all operations
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and power tools
- Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or related fields such as gardening or horticulture
- Familiarity with land excavation, irrigation systems, snow plowing, and tree care is preferred
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, skid loaders, and other landscaping machinery safely and efficiently
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Physical ability to perform outdoor tasks including lifting heavy equipment or materials and working in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for equipment operation or property access purposes

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
