A well-established manufacturing company is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join its accounting team. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys owning core accounting functions in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently while supporting day-to-day financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Process payroll accurately and maintain payroll records
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close
- Support cash management and financial reporting
- Analyze accounting data and identify process improvements
- Assist with collections, cash application, and account analysis
- Work within an ERP system and utilize advanced Excel for reporting and data analysis
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in a full-cycle accounting role
- Experience with AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems
- Manufacturing or industrial accounting experience is highly preferred
- Associate's degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience); bachelor's degree is a plus
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
