Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food handling and preparation
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing their needs promptly
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions
- Assist with food preparation tasks to ensure timely delivery of food items in accordance with safety guidelines
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and ensuring product quality throughout your shift
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in food service, with strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for smooth transaction processing
- Excellent customer service skills that create positive guest interactions and foster loyalty
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and proper food preparation techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude
