Mavericks Barbershop is growing and we’re looking for talented barbers to join our Hillcrest and Pacific Beach locations as 1099 Independent Contractors.
At Mavericks, we provide the shop, clients, booking system, and full operational support so you can focus on what you do best, delivering great cuts and exceptional service.
With a strong membership base and high daily demand, our barbers enjoy full schedules without the stress of building a client list from scratch.

Compensation

What We’re Looking For
- Active California Barber or Cosmetology License
- Professional liability insurance (required)
- Minimum 2 years of barbering experience preferred
- Reliable, professional, and client-focused
- Strong men’s grooming and customer service skills
- Open to weekend schedule.

- Manage your own schedule within the Mavericks platform
- Work independently with the support of an established team
