Position: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (1099 with transition to W2)
Schedule: Minimum 20 available work hours a week with option for full time caseload
Location: Hybrid (Telehealth + 1 day a week at the office)
Compensation: Hourly of $150-200/hour. 60/40 split under 17 billable hours. 70/30 split for 17+ billable hours a week with bonus incentives.

About Our Practice
We are a NP owned client-centered mental health outpatient private practice providing medication management services in general psychiatry, with specialty in supporting maternal/women's mental health. We currently have 2 NPs and looking to add a 3rd provider to the team. We also serve clients from diverse cultural and spiritual backgrounds. We offer faith-integrated care for those who request it but not required. We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about supporting families, women and moms in a private practice setting.
We value safe prescribing practices. We typically do not prescribe daily benzodiazepine. We do provide stimulants for ADHD treatment, and clients are required to come in person once a year. We do not provide stimulants to those who are on other controlled substances such as narcotics or those who use illicit substances such as heroin, cocaine, ketamine, LSD, etc. Website is www.impakpsychiatry.com.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management
- Meet minimum billable hours
- Manage a consistent caseload with timely and accurate documentation
- Collaborate with therapists and primary care providers as appropriate
- Utilize a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and client-centered approach
- Provide care that is supportive of clients given cultural and spiritual framework
- Maintain professional autonomy as an independent contractor
Ideal Candidate
- MSN or DNP with active CRNP licensure in Pennsylvania, certification in PMHNP-BC, and active DEA license
- Someone who desires to work up to full time caseload within 3-6 months
- Experience of 1-2 years as a PMHNP who has interest in maternal/women's mental health.
- Able to document charts in an accurate and timely manner, within 48 hours of appointment time
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Ability to work independently, with reliability and strong clinical judgment
- Comfortable working in a mission-driven private practice
