We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Attorney (or attorney-to-be pending bar results) willing to learn and practice in Criminal, Civil, or Immigration law to join our legal team.
Immigration, Civil, or Criminal Defense Attorney
Rodriguez & Porter was established in 2009 and is located in Fairfield, Ohio. For over 17 years, our attorneys have practiced removal defense, USCIS petitions, BIA appeals, criminal defense, divorce and domestic relations, juvenile law, contracts and business law and litigation. We are seeking to add one or two full time attorney to our team! A candidate should be admitted as a practicing attorney (or expected license in November) to the Ohio Supreme Court. We offer very competitive salary, paid vacation and maternity/paternity leave, 401k, and a friendly, team environment.
A candidate seeking this position should possess the following qualities and abilities: excellent interpersonal skills, a high level of organization and self-motivation, trustworthy, responsible, able to work well in a fast paced, team environment, experience working on EOIR removal cases in addition to USCIS applications, preference will be given for bilingual candidates, particularly Spanish speaking.
Responsibilities for this position include: case management , appearance in state, municipal, and federal immigration courts, research and drafting of motions, memoranda, and appeals, client communication, jail visits, delegation of work to legal assistants and paralegals.
