American Traveler is hiring a Labor and Delivery RN for a night shift hospital position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of L&D experience.

Night shift, 12-hour shifts

36 hours per week over 3 days per week

May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications

May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Uses Epic charting system

Active RN license (CO state or compact) required

BLS certification from the American Heart Association required, must not expire prior to start

ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications as appropriate for the unit

ASN required, BSN preferred

Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery required
-
2+ years of RN experience, travel experience, and extensive L&D experience preferred
-
DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for L&D patients
-
Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy to patients
-
Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
-
Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system

Returning employees must be separated from any facility within this health system for at least one year before being eligible for a new travel assignment
