We’re looking for an experienced Lead Flooring Installer to join our team. We are a non-union flooring company based out of Sand Island, with approximately $5 million in annual work across O‘ahu, including residential, commercial, and military projects.
We’re specifically looking for additional lead installers who can take ownership of jobs, work with helpers, and consistently deliver quality installations on schedule.
Experience in multiple flooring trades is preferred, but we’re also open to installers who are highly skilled in one or more areas, including:
- Carpet: broadloom, carpet tile, and double-stick installations
- Plank flooring: floating and glue-down
- Sheet vinyl
- Tile
- Hardwood
- Wall base : wood, rubber, and resilient
- Floor preparation, patching, and leveling
Responsibilities
- Lead flooring installations from preparation through completion
- Read plans, drawings, and project specifications as needed
- Inspect and prepare substrates, including floor prep and leveling
- Measure, cut, fit, and install flooring materials accurately
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Coordinate with project managers, helpers, and other trades
- Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
- Complete projects on schedule while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
