Pay range: $81,525 - $132,475 / year

To analyze, design, implement, operationalize, maintain, and support systems utilized in healthcare operations. To evaluate requests through process, business, and technical requirement review. To partner with business experts to understand current challenges and collaboratively create solutions. To have a basic understanding of healthcare practices and workflows to achieve organizational outcomes. To maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and enhancements. To provide ongoing system support via on call processes, monitoring, and maintenance.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Independently identify and analyze business needs, conduct requirements gathering, and define scope and objectives for systems related to Healthcare operations.
2. Independently provide data through visualization and documentation to analyze requests and monitor systems. Produce data diagrams and charts as an output of system functionality review.
3. Review work of peers and also follows change control processes to develop, build, test, and implement planned changes with associated technical and functional documentation.
4. Evaluates system performance criteria and demonstrates basic knowledge of common industry concepts and practices to maintain a consistent approach to operational processes and procedures, mitigating risks to system operations.
5. Maintains knowledge of system enhancements, corrections, and technical best practices.
6. Assist in the troubleshooting, assignment, escalation, and resolution of complex healthcare application installs, issue resolution, upgrades, and maintenance that may include user applications, end user hardware, networking communication, server hardware, system services and processes, databases, long term storage components, or any other operationally needed components.
7. With minimal assistance, assumes on-call duties as needed to provide user support by defining problems and identifying solutions. Assist in the establishment of a collaborative user support framework that addresses hardware, software, and process issues at all times (24/7). Exhibits excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.

Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree with (5) years of experience, or greater than (6) years of experience in a healthcare application support role. Demonstrated organizational, analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to set and manage multiple priorities and to lead others in team projects; demonstrated ability to manage and/or resolve issues affecting healthcare operational systems including clinical and/or financial. Related experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of laboratory specimen processing processes required. Experience within the Beaker module configuring orders, sample tracking and result reporting preferred. Expertise with lab analyzer/instrument interface implementation and associated hardware such as label printers is required. Understanding of analytics tools to report on turnaround times, quality metrics, and performance a plus. Knowledge of quality control processes and regulatory requirements preferred. Experience as a Med Tech a plus.
