Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency to meet the restaurant’s high standards
- Assist in menu planning, ensuring dishes are innovative and aligned with customer preferences and dietary requirements
- Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance, training, and support to foster teamwork and efficiency
- Manage food inventory, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality ingredients
- Oversee food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness standards across all kitchen areas
- Coordinate with the catering team for special events, banquets, and large-scale food service operations
- Lead by example in food handling, portion control, and presentation to uphold the restaurant’s reputation for excellence
Requirements
- Proven experience in fine dining establishments or similar high-end culinary environments
- Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience within a kitchen setting
- Strong background in food production, catering, and restaurant management practices
- Knowledge of inventory control, food safety regulations, and dietary accommodations
- Skilled in menu planning, food preparation techniques, and kitchen management systems
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on motivating staff and fostering a positive work environment
- Experience with banquet service, event catering, and shift management is highly desirable
- Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
