A long-established final-mile logistics company in Bexley is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee the daily operations of a high-volume distribution facility.
The Logistics Manager will provide leadership across dispatch, drivers, warehouse, and office staff to ensure operational excellence and compliance. We are looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can bring out the best in their team.
Responsibilities
- Manage driver fleet, warehouse staff, and office personnel
- Oversee routing, dispatch, and scheduling
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and FDOT regulations
- P&L accountability
- Continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead facility safety programs, audits, and training
- Resolve escalated customer issues and ensure high-quality service delivery
Qualifications
- 7+ years management experience in LTL and final-mile deliveries
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; WMS/TMS experience a plus
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Excellent communication and customer service orientation
