Schedule: 4:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Monday to Thursday (Overtime as needed)
Salary: $40,560.00 per year
Job Summary:
Mixing raw materials (teas, herbs, flavors) to create production blends and assist with inventory management of produced blends and raw materials.
Responsibilities:
- Mixing raw materials for blending
- Operation of blending machines
- Operation of herbal sanitizer and monitoring of critical control point
- Ensuring lot integrity
- Placements of raw material in inventory
- Will operate the forklift
- Assist with regular cycle counts and year-end physical count
- Maintaining a clean and sage work environment
- Completion of forms as required
- Adhere to established standard work for blending and sanitization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and respond to quickly changing conditions
Skills & Qualification:
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Previous experience with blending/batching
- Previous experience with pallet jacks on a frequent basis
- 1+ year of experience with forklift and using an RF scanner
- Must be able to lift 40lbs +
- Basic computer skills
- Strong English literacy, verbal and written communication skills
NOTE:
This position will be in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment. Individuals may be exposed to strong odors(herbs).
