Job description: CDL Class B Driver
Job Summary:
- Responsible for transporting material in a safe manner using 26' box trucks.
Primary responsibilities:
- Ensure material is loaded correctly per DOT regulations.
- Make sure amount and type of cargo being delivered/picked up is recorded on BOL/Manifest.
- Report to a manager any incidents encountered on the road.
- Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion.
- Follow all applicable traffic laws.
- Follow company procedures
- Maintain DOT/ELD log book
- Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.
- Keep their truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order.
- Assist with route planning.
- Maintain trip reports/ELD logs and ensure paperwork is correct.
Job Requirements:
- Requires an excellent driving record
- Current CDL B license with hazmat endorsement
- 1 years of CDL B experience.
Pay & Benefits Job Type: Full-time Monday - Friday
- Offering $21-$24 per based on experience
- 40+ Hours per Week (averaging 45-50 with overtime pay at time and half)
