Duties
- Engage with customers to understand their automotive needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate vehicles and explain features, benefits, and financing options.
- Utilize effective sales techniques, including upselling and cross-selling, to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain an organized sales pipeline using software tools for tracking leads and customer interactions.
- Conduct cold calling and follow-up calls to potential customers to generate interest in our inventory.
- Provide exceptional phone etiquette when handling inquiries from customers.
- Collaborate with the sales management team to develop strategies for achieving sales targets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, vehicle specifications, and financing options to better assist customers.
- Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the buying process by addressing any concerns or questions.
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive sales or a related retail environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in pricing and financing discussions.
- Experience in outside sales is a plus, as it demonstrates the ability to engage with customers beyond the showroom.
- Proficiency in using software tools for tracking leads and managing customer relationships is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for success in this role.
