**Required Obstetric Procedures:** - Management of Low-Risk Pregnancies (e.g., history of twins, toxemia, pyelonephritis) - Management of High-Risk Pregnancies (e.g., toxemia, diabetes, cardiac conditions Class II or higher, chronic lung issues, chronic renal disease) - Fetal heart rate (FHR) interpretation – NST, CST, FSE - Performance and interpretation of OB ultrasounds (Level I/Screening for viability and Level II/Targeted for anatomical assessment)
**Labor and Delivery Procedures:** - Routine and Complicated Deliveries: vaginal delivery, low forceps application, decision-making for C-sections, management of breech births, multiple births, and complications like abruptions - Vaginal Birth after Cesarean (VBAC) management - Repair of third- and fourth-degree lacerations
**Gynecological Procedures:** - Operative/Major Procedures: ectopic pregnancy management, oophorectomy, cystectomy, extensive laparoscopic procedures - Laparoscopic minor procedures: tubal ligation, chromopertubation - Surgical gynecology: open techniques
- Office/Minor Gynecology: IUD insertion, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
**Shift Structure:** - 24-hour shifts, starting at 08:00 and concluding at 08:00 the following day.
**Credentialing Requirements:** - NPDB self-query pulled within the last 30 days required at the time of presentation.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Board-certified status is mandatory.
- Valid Ohio medical license is required.
