Front Desk SupervisorJob Overview
We're looking for a friendly, dependable, and guest-focused Front Desk Supervisor to join our team. This is a hands-on position where you'll spend most of your time working alongside the front desk team, assisting guests, answering phones, handling reservations, and helping ensure daily operations run smoothly.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, loves interacting with people, and is interested in growing their career. While the primary focus is front desk operations, there will be opportunities to learn more about hotel operations, leadership, and management responsibilities for those looking to advance within the company.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest service during check-in, check-out, and throughout each guest's stay.
- Assist guests with questions, concerns, recommendations, and special requests.
- Support daily front desk operations, including reservations, billing, phone calls, and guest communications.
- Help train and support front desk team members while leading by example.
- Assist with scheduling, problem-solving, and ensuring company policies and procedures are followed.
- Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and work toward effective resolutions.
- Maintain accurate guest records and reservation information using hotel software.
- Help create a welcoming, friendly, and team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel, hospitality, customer service, or front desk experience preferred.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and positive when handling guest concerns.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn hotel management systems.
- Leadership or supervisory experience is helpful but not required.
- Bilingual or multilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
What We're Looking For
We want someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing excellent service, and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more responsibility than a traditional front desk position while gaining valuable experience in hotel operations and leadership.
If you're looking for a role where you can make a difference, grow your skills, and potentially advance into management in the future, we'd love to hear from you.
