Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Customer Service Representative role based in Hubbard, OR. The Customer Service Representative (CSR) / Job Coordinator role is essential for ensuring exceptional customer service while coordinating customer orders, production schedules, and project timelines from order receipt through delivery. This position serves as a key liaison between customers, sales, production, engineering, purchasing, and shipping departments to ensure customer requirements are met, jobs are scheduled efficiently, and products are delivered on time. The role requires strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and multitasking skills to support customer satisfaction and operational success. The Customer Service Representative will also support internal reporting, maintain organized records, and contribute ideas to improve customer experience and service processes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or relevant technical/business education preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of customer service, order management, production coordination, project coordination, manufacturing planning, or related experience preferred.
- Manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, defense, or metal fabrication experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Ability to read and interpret customer purchase orders, work orders, drawings, specifications, and production schedules.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems and customer relationship management (CRM) software preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing customer and production demands.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
- Knowledge of production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and manufacturing processes preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
