Role Description: The Locum Non- Invasive Cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiology care in an on-site, hospital-based setting located in Washington. This contract role involves performing and interpreting noninvasive cardiac diagnostic studies such as echocardiograms, stress tests, EKGs, and other relevant imaging and monitoring procedures.
Daily responsibilities include evaluating and managing patients with cardiovascular conditions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and developing evidence-based care plans. The clinician will participate in inpatient and/or outpatient consultations, follow-up visits, and coordination of care with primary care and specialty providers. Additional duties may include documentation in the electronic medical record, participation in quality improvement initiatives, and contributing to cardiology program development as needed.

Shift 8x5: 8a- 5p M-F Outpatient Clinic setting
Qualifications:
Board certification or board eligibility in Cardiology with specialized training and experience in noninvasive cardiology.
Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine and an accredited Cardiology fellowship.
Active, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) in the state of Washington and current DEA registration, open to IMLC w/ LOQ.
Proficiency in noninvasive cardiac diagnostics, including echocardiography, stress testing, EKG interpretation, and ambulatory monitoring.
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills with a commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.
Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills for collaboration with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume clinical environment, manage competing priorities, and maintain accurate documentation.
Current BLS and ACLS certification, or willingness to obtain prior to start date.
Experience in hospital-based cardiology practice and familiarity with electronic medical record systems preferred.
Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and commitment to ethical practice and continuous quality improvement.
