Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Production Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing repetitive welding tasks on steel components, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to safety protocols. This role requires a strong understanding of welding techniques and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate welding equipment and machinery
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
- Perform welding on various materials, ensuring structural integrity and quality standards are met.
- Utilize power tools and machinery such as grinders, drill press, and saws, to assist in the fabrication process.
- Conduct visual inspections of welded joints
- Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
Skills
- Proficiency in welding techniques
- General metal fabrication
- Strong basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
- Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation.
- Ability to work on your feet for several hours at a time
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
