The Law Offices of Valera & Associates, P.C., a well-established immigration law firm with more than 30 years of experience, is seeking a full-time Associate Immigration Attorney to join our growing legal team in Fairfax, Virginia.
Our firm has a busy Immigration Court (EOIR) Removal Proceedings practice and represents clients in complex immigration matters before the Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), the U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeals, USCIS, and ICE.
Our practice includes asylum, cancellation of removal, family-based immigration, waivers, humanitarian relief, federal appellate litigation, and other complex immigration matters.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) and licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
2. Strong interest in immigration law and courtroom advocacy.
3. Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
4. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced litigation environment.
5. Experience: Immigration law experience is preferred but not required. No experience necessary. We will train and mentor the right candidate.
