Duties

- Deliver a wide range of dental services such as general dentistry procedures, dental extractions, root canal therapy.
- Utilize advanced dental software like Open Dental to document medical records accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality.
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment for patients and staff.
- Conduct oral surgery procedures and provide post-treatment instructions to ensure optimal healing and patient comfort.
- Engage in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency, reduce patient chair time, and improve overall treatment quality.
- Educate patients on dental terminology, oral hygiene practices, and preventive care strategies to promote lifelong oral health.
Experience
- Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or office setting with a focus on general dentistry procedures.
- Strong knowledge of medical and dental terminology, anatomy, and medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
- Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other restorative procedures.
- Familiarity with electronic health records system Open Dental for accurate documentation of medical records.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Knowledge of infection control standards and sterilization techniques aligned with OSHA guidelines.
