Duties
- Design and develop scalable software systems using programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, and Ruby on Rails, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between different software components and services.
- Contribute to system architecture planning by applying design patterns and best practices for system development and microservices architecture.
- Implement cloud infrastructure solutions utilizing AWS, Azure, or similar platforms to enhance system scalability and security.
- Collaborate within Agile teams to plan sprints, conduct code reviews using version control tools like GitHub, SVN, or Git, and ensure continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines are optimized for efficiency.
- Develop front-end interfaces with JavaScript frameworks such as React or Express to create engaging user experiences.
- Ensure systems adhere to security standards including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and implement scalable database solutions with MySQL or SQL Server for data management.
- Apply software engineering principles to optimize application development processes while maintaining high standards of code quality and documentation.
Experience
- Proven experience in software development with a strong background in IT infrastructure, web development, and application design.
- Hands-on expertise with programming languages including Java, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, VBA, C#, or similar technologies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of RESTful API development, microservices architecture, and system design for scalable systems.
- Experience working within Agile environments utilizing tools like GitHub, SVN, or Git for version control; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is essential.
- Practical understanding of cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS or Azure; experience deploying applications in cloud environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of design patterns, scalability strategies, and best practices for building robust web applications using frameworks like React or Express.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and command-line tools; experience with front-end development is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills complemented by excellent communication abilities; ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
