Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Technician to join our team. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of equipment and systems in the field. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge and experience with computer networking and telecommunications.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network equipment, including Ubiquiti routers and switches
- Perform field service visits to customer locations to install and repair equipment
- Conduct network installations and ensure proper connectivity
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to network connectivity, hardware, and software
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to complete installations and repairs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Field Technician or similar role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols
- Familiarity with low-voltage systems and telecommunications equipment
- Proficient in using hand tools for installation and repair tasks - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
