Brian Cox Mechanical is seeking an experienced HVAC estimator with a minimum of 10 years industry-specific experience who can provide both conceptual and plan and specification bids. We are looking for someone who is extremely knowledgeable, reliable, detailed, and a good communicator both internal to the company and externally with customers and vendors.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Conceptual budgeting

Design Build estimating
-
Plan & Spec estimating
-
Provide detailed budget & estimates
-
Material and equipment take-offs
-
Obtaining vendor and subcontractor quotes
-
Incorporation of plans, specs & BOD’s into estimates

Review of subcontractor bids / scope of work requirements
-
Proposal development and submission
-
Interview as part of the team to build the project
Requirements:
- In office work position
-
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Must be proficient with onscreen take-off programs. Quotesoft abilities a plus.

Must be detail oriented, well organized and have the ability to meet deadlines, and work in a very fast paced environment

Must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing, especially during the bid process.
